Artist statement

I picked to light up a stuffed animal because I’ve had mine before I was born. Its a small little polar bear, who is gray now. My bears name is pobo cause I couldn't say polar bear when I was little. I took my bear everywhere I went. My bear was my best friend. Pobo kept me safe and made my feel free to be myself. My stuffed animal is a huge part of who I am today. Thats way I picked to do this for my project.
