Artist Statement: The reason I picked the sculpture of puzzle pieces is because of the fact that puzzle pieces symbolizes Autism. I have Autism and it is a very important thing to me because I went through struggles and speech therapy. I want to show even though you have Autism you can still come out with something beautiful and have a happy life. I think the lights show that even Autism is a ¨mental illness”you can still rise above that and be great.
