How can an understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters? Environmental Science is the study of the earth's systems, so if we understand those systems, we could reverse engineer them and make counter-measurements. 3. What efforts can we make to create a sustainable future? As said, those counter-measures and working together to collectively prevent human disaster through natural disaster.
