My art piece has a greyish background, there is a big moon in the top right hand corner of the paper. In the bottom left hand side of the piece there is a wolf howling at the moon. As the wolf is howling at the moon, smoke is coming out of his mouth towards the moon and surrounding it. The smoke that comes from the wolf's mouth is blue and purple. I decided the draw this art piece because I just really like wolves. When I decided the create this piece, I had the choose to either use watercolor paint or acrylic paint, and i chose watercolor paint. For the first checkpoint, we had to make a color grid, we had to choose 5 colors and mix the colors together within the color grid. The colors I made were blue, purple, black, white and grey. The materials I then used to create my piece was a pencil to draw my art piece, the a a use a pallet to hold my watercolors, I used a cup to hold my water, and lastly a paintbrush to paint my art piece. My first step was figuring what I want to draw. My second step to creating my piece was creating the color grid. My third step was drawing the design how I wanted. My fourth step was tracing it onto the paper that I wanted my final project to be on. The fifth step was painting my art piece. I got the idea from this piece i saw on instagram by a artist I really like. The only type of techniques I used were trying to paint a certain way so it could look really nice. I painted so it wouldn't look like a lot of paint stroke going all different types of ways. I didn't learn any new techniques. I'm mostly proud of my art piece with how it came out. The way the color of the wolf and the color of the background doesn't blend in with each other. The only thing I would change about my piece is the way painted it and the little mistake I made.
