Dear History Unglorified,
I am amazed by your zine because in my opinion it targets the many issues that people face whenever it comes to learning the actual truth about something. I believe that depending on the topic unless it comes from a direct source then we can't be all that sure of how true it is. I say that because someone might feel like they have the right to change a story up just because they don't like how something occurred.
One sentence you wrote that stands out to me is when it says "If you tell my story make sure you tell the truth, The truth they tend to hide." I like this because I feel like this is how a big portion of our history is told. I think that depending on what exactly is being taught depends on how people are going to twist their words about it. The only person who can truly tell your story is YOU and if someone else feels as though they could accurately do so then they need to include every last detail that way the truth is what's getting out instead of some tampered story. Another sentence that I enjoyed reading was when it says "History is written by the victors." This stood out for me because it's the sad reality about the world we live in. I actually agree with you on that because I feel as though depending on how someone feels about an event will depend on how they tell it. For example of someone gets in a fight, loses and ends up on the ground. They may alter this story and say they tripped just because they didn't like the fact they they ended up on the ground. Have you seen this article https://www.history.com/topics/great-depression/scottsboro-boys. I think you would like this because because the events of the Scottsboro boys is a well known event on how a group of young Black men were falsely accused of something they did not do. Thank you for your writing, I look forward to seeing what you write next because I loved the effort and detail out into your poems. Plus I like the way that this topic which I enjoy was throughly explained.

Dear "History unglorified group" I am amazed at your first collage "End white history" because I feel like it really complimented your cause. It also made your 1st poem "In history" stand out because seeing the collage when you read the poem sends a powerful message. One part of your interview that stands out for me is that I agree with the responses and they are very thought out questions that you asked. Another part that I liked was the poem "In history" like i said before because it gives a real message to the readers to stop whitewashing history and that really stuck with me. Your poem also reminded me of my own poem in a way because of the way that they both try to reach to a wider audience to help for the future. The way that we use metaphors to bring our point across was inspiring to me. Thank you for your last collage I feel like the way your collage transitions into your next poem was a good way to continue your zine, Im looking forward to what you make next because this was an inspiration all around. This made me think and it left me with good questions
