Jy'Maire O'Connors Capstone

Hello, all this is about my capstone. For my capstone, I focused on building a sculpture but I did it with the help of my seniors on the green team as well as the 5th graders. My capstone focused more on youth involvement within afterschool programs and my first step was with these kiddos. Within my capstone, I talk about gun violence but the effect it has on children and how them being on the streets can really do damage but with them being in a program after school in not only benefits them but it also benefits those around them. I talk about my experience with gun violence and then I proceed to talk about my time while being in a boys and girls club (afterschool program). With all that being said you get the whole idea of my capstone.
