Dear Qaydu:

I am moved by your Artist's statement, “Zine by Qaydo Emdur,” because I never knew how much of an impact this topic had in your life. One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “If the dominant institution of our time has been created in the image of a psychopath, who bears the moral responsibility for its actions?” I think this is fascinating because honestly who is responsible for their actions? who does this fall on? I do agree with you that larger companies tend take this too far. One reason I say this is even if this wasn't an issue of exploitation, companies just do way too much. Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next.

One sentence that stood out for me was "It has impacted my life as my father worked for an exploitive pharmaceutical company. Which put him in poor working conditions and abused other workers." i think this is pretty crazy because i had never known this fact about you and i think its good to learn new things about people and for people to share things that might be uncomfortable for them to share
