Quarter 4 Benchmark: Aquaponics System

For Q4 Benchmark, as a class, we decided to come together and make an aquaponic system! Split into four groups, we all contributed to making one aquaponic system. The group I attended was to manage Power, Pumps, and Pipes with many little jobs to get everything together. My role was to be one of the chemical recorders to test the water in the tank each and every day and also record data in our journal to keep track of what everyone did each day. From this project and experience, I have learned that the aquaponic system is good for growing plants without using so much soil, and the fish maintaining how to survive in the tank. Watching my team grow was fascinating I have learned that everyone has great qualities and by working with these people made me realize that when people come together you really do make something great!
