SLAB Cross Country has great showing in 1st race
SLA Beeber's cross country team had a great showing on Thursday, September 17th in their first meet of the Public League teams. SLAB Boys raced against 17 teams and came in 4th place overall. Out of 100+ runners in their race, Cinque Harris, Camilo Ruiz, Sergio Ruiz, Jaycob Rodriguez, Asaad Parsons, and Hector Tapia placed 17th, 20th, 22nd, 35th, and 48th. SLAB Girls Jacqueline Shepherd and Sameese Smith had an equally great performance, placing 21st and 25th in their race of over 60 runners.
The remaining meets for the season are scheduled on 9/21, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, and 10/29.
