Tornadoes

Earth systems are a continuous cycle in which can create natural disasters, each system feeds off each other to either help or hurts the earth. Starting with the atmosphere which is mostly gas elements in the top layers of the earth elements like Oxygen, Carbon, Hydrogen, Etc. These elements help other systems like the biosphere in which humans, animals, and plants breathe in oxygen and out carbon. The geosphere which is another system which affects the land meaning rocks, mountains, Etc. The hydrosphere also works with the atmosphere to create rainstorms and water vapor in the air. For the last couple of weeks, we as a class have been looking into Earth’s systems and their effect on nature. My group and I decided that we would do Tornadoes. We had to figure out which systems helped create these big natural disasters. The atmosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere work together to create tornadoes. First cold dry air mixes with warm wet air which collides and then making an air pocket which a funnel is created and forms a tornado. As a future scientist, it is important to know and understand how we can help when it comes to natural disasters. Although we can not prevent natural disasters there are certain things we can do to take preventative measures to ensure safety for our people.
