We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of 5 SLA Beeber students who received recognition at the regional Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards. We are so proud of all who entered the competition! Students who placed in the competition include:

Charles Hart - “Gold Key” Award in Critical Essay for his essay “How Has History Led to the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict?”

Umme Orthy - “Silver Key” Award in Science Fiction and Fantasy for her story “Expedition of Transformation”

Dell Caldera - “Silver Key” Award in Dramatic Script for their script “The Void God’s Shared Dream”

Aniya Staley - Honorable Mention in Poetry for her poem “My Philadelphia, My Future”

Mariatu Fayia - Honorable Mention in Personal Essay and Memoir for her essay “Inside Scoop”
