Individualized Learning

The mission of the Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) Program is to prepare students to enter adulthood by giving them the opportunity to develop and answer questions about their career goals, gain real experience working with adult mentors in a multitude of professions expanding the classroom into the city of Philadelphia. 2015-16 ILP Dates:

ILPs for the 2015-16 school year will run September 30th - June 1st. 

2016-17 ILP Dates:

ILPs for the 2016-17 school year will run October 19th - June 14th. 

New student ILP Start Date:

New 10th & 11th grade students must start their ILP on or before November 30, 2016.

2016-17 School Year Parent/Guardian ILP Information:

All rising sophomores and juniors must have their ILP for the 2016-17 school year secured by Friday, June 10, 2016. All ILP information is on canvas for parents/guardians and students to review. Current 10th graders are NOT allowed to repeat their current ILP without submitting the information below via email by Thursday, March 4, 2016:

1) Submit a rationale statement for staying on company letterhead via email to myself, your host, and your advisor

2) Submit  proof of why the experience will be enriching including what you have learned and contributed to the organization

3) Submit a letter of recommendation from host on company letterhead emailed to myself and your advisor

4) Submit your resume

  10. November 25th  (ILPs may be cancelled at the discretion of the host)

  11. December 2nd (No ILPs Evening parent/teacher conferences)

  14. December 23rd - No ILPs

  15. January 6th

  18. January 27th

  19. February 3rd - No ILPs or Mini-courses all school field trip to the opera

  20. February 10th

  26. Spring Break - March 23rd - No ILPs
