Lead Exposure PSA Julianna Doroba

Posted by Julianna Doroba in Environmental Science · Sasso-Chryst · D on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 8:56 pm
  • In this video, I explain what lead Exposure is and how it affects the environment and humans. I chose this because it’s still a huge issue, not only in the United States, but globally too.
  • I think that the editing was pretty good. I wish that I spoke a little bit slower.
  • The most meaningful part of this PSA was getting the message across and how dangerous it actually is.

Jules Q3 Benchmark Reflection

Posted by Julianna Doroba in Environmental Science · Sasso-Chryst · D on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 8:31 am

-What value do we see in the biodiversity and natural resources of the earth?

They provide clean air, water, food and things like that. We wouldn’t be able to live without them. They also support the ecosystems that are on the Earth.

-What human actions are associated with altering earth’s natural systems?

We do things like deforestation, pollution, overfishing, habitat destruction, and contribute to climate change. This interrupts the wildlife and natural cycles of the Earth.

-How can individuals, communities and or nations live more sustainably?

We can recycle, turn off electricity and water when we aren’t using it, use public transportation, take shorter showers, and plant trees.

Jules Doroba Natural Disasters

How do the earth systems affect each other? - The force of the water, pollutants, and toxic substances can also harm natural resources on and off shore. The force of the water can take down heavy things such as buildings and trees. This destroys animal habitats and rapidly kills the land animals. The marine animals are also affected because of the chemicals on land, these chemicals have a high potential for poisoning them. How can an understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters? - An understanding of environmental science aid can better prepare people by making them knowledgeable on what exactly they’re dealing with and more importantly how to prepare for it if they cannot avoid it.

Jules Doroba Nursing Project

Posted by Julianna Doroba in Anatomy & Physiology · Sasso-Chryst · e1 on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 1:51 pm

I would define this career by saying that nurse practitioners are hard workers who have extensive training in their careers. They have to go through a lot of education too. The most interesting thing that I learned about np’s is that they also have to have a BSN (bachelor’s degree of science in nursing). If someone was interested in this career then I would tell them that it’s hard work, but it’s very rewarding.
