Anatomy Benchmark: Motor Vehicle Injury
Our PSA was about motor vehicle injuries as a public health issue. Many organizations feel like it's not taken seriously. The video below contains an informative skit and a short interview from a motor safety advocating organization.
The work for this project was done equally among all group members. We each did 1and 1/3 worth of a current event, we all created questions, and did one specific aspect of the video. For me, it was editing.
We did really good research in terms of looking for information and looking for organizations. The most challenging part would be the fact that almost all of the organizations we called never get back into contact with us after we left them information.
The most meaningful part about this project is researching an issue you already know about and constantly being surprised about the other problems that lie beneath.
