Capstone Project

Hello everyone, This project has been the culmination of my 4 years in high school and rowing. I have had a hard journey discovering myself and rowing is what helped me find what I love and what I’m good at. This past year I have done the most in my sport as I have ever done to prep for rowing in college next year. I have competed in harder races and have become a regional champion and hope to do well in The national regatta in June. However, this project wasn’t about me it was about helping others. Rowing is one of the only things I love making it easy to decide that I wanted to help other people find it and love it as much as I do. For my project, I mentored a young and new rower as well as started a cycle of other people helping out and talking with younger athletes.
