Fast Plants Reflection Did the F2 generation look like how you predicted them to look? When it came to the F2 Generations I predicted them to remain the same color but when it came to the height of the plants I assume they would be small but instead the got taller. Did the parent generation or the F2 generation grow faster? F2 generations did grow faster and it took only a couple of days. What might have hindered your plants' ability to thrive? Things that would hinder our plants were the environment it was in and how we took care of it. The air could change to hot or cold temperatures and we didn't have actual sunlight it was the light bulb and due to the fact that there were several plants in the area some would lean on others and based off what other classes would do to our plants by messing with them. How do genetics and the environment affect the phenotype of an organism? Genetics and the environment affect the phenotype of the environment explained in question 3 and based on how the parents and what they are will also determine the offspring and what it is. Which is a greater indicator of how an organism will look? Based on how genotypes and phenotypes of both mother and father. This will determine how the offsprings would be and how they look. A summary of what stood out to you during this course and why. During this experiment what stood out to me was how fast the plants grew and the background steps of setting it up in its environment. I thought when it came to planting it was easy steps but you should always be aware of what you do to take care of your pants such as watering and light. I also was shocked at the fact that plants could have babies which were something I wasn’t sure about how.
