How To Survive Online

The person I am online is a lot of different Indian people. On the internet it shows Indian families or them succeeding in something. I think that other people would think that I am older than I actually am or they might think that I am from India because of the background. They might believe I lied to them or believe something else because what they looked up about me. I consider what is going on in the photo. I know that anyone can do anything to your photo with the right technology. I make sure that it is appropriate and make sure that anyone I don't want to see anything I don't let them see. The pros of sharing online are you may get some really good or nice feedback from people. The cons from sharing online are someone taking your photo and photoshopping it and reposting it. They could also show it someone else and make that person say terrible things about you for something you didn't even do. Some people don't think before they post. Some people just post for attention. You should want to post for fun or for anything positive. If you are not paying attention to what you are posting someone can easily screenshot the photo before you delete it and do something to it or send it to everyone they know. I think they should just ask your permission because somethings are private. People in the world these days are crazy and if they found out something you weren't you could get yourself in a lot of trouble. If you have nothing to hide you shouldn't have a problem but some people just don't feel comfortable. They don't even have to be hiding something they could just not like other people in their business. Free speech is the right to express any opinions without censorship or restraint. Free speech is protected by the First Amendment but the U.S. Constitution does does protect Free speech. Another problem on the internet that you should watch out for are internet trolls. This is a Person who starts trouble to upset people. They do this by sending off topic messages in an online community. These trolls do it for their own entertainment. I think they have no life and are very petty. I believe a internet trolls goal is to shame or intimidate someone in front of a group of people online. For certain websites they just don't allow comments but for the websites that do you can try not to just feed to the trolls nonsense. Well first make sure it is an internet troll but after you do that report the troll to an op, administrator, or site owner. Then if there's an ignore button block them so you won't see their comments. If you are really good at ignoring people just ignore them and act like they are not their if their is no ignore button. You can also try to compliment the troll to throw them off their game or you can nicely just ask the troll to stop. DO NOT RESPOND TO THE TROLL YOU ARE FEEDING THEIR ENJOYMENT. Posting anonymously online can be good and bad. The pros of posting his way is if you post something about someone you won't get caught because they don't know who you are. The cons of posting this way is they could find someone to figure out who you are or do it themself if they are good with computers and expose you and make your life or your appearance really bad to people.

Tips:  Watch what you put online you don't know who is watching or looking at your post.

Be careful for Internet trolls.

Treat others the way you want to be treated.
