Slide 2: An explanation of how the Internet has changed communication. Make sure to use at least one specific example.

  • The internet has changed communication because now you don’t have to send mails to people or run over and tell them. You can just email , call , or text.

Define Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control as they pertain to the Internet and explain how Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control affect both our offline and our online identities and lives. Include at least one example for each.

Slide 3:    Immediacy : when you post something and people immediately see it

Slide 4:    Permanence   lasting or remaining unchanged indefinitely.

Slide 5:    Lack of Control when you can't control what you put out there.


Slide 6:  What are two ways that you can actively manage and protect your identity and your reputation online? (one of each)

  • By creating passwords that you don’t know

  • Don’t post anything you don't want people to see

  • Put your account on private

  • Don’t share your information

Slide 7:  Answer the question: “Does the Internet have rules?” Use at least one specific example.

  • They internet does not have rules because you can still do anything you want on the internet. Nothing is stopping you from posting bad comments of people unless someone report it, but several people got to report so the carrier can know what going on. When you post something inappropriate the internet does not check it or block.

  • When electronic device to communicate with someone to bully someone. Causing harm to someone making them feel bad.

Slide 8:  Describe at least 2 kinds of cyberbullying and why they are considered cyberbullying

  • Harassment: sending offensive and malicious messages to an individual or a group and is often repeated multiple times.

  • Flaming is similar to harassment, but it refers to an online fight exchanged via emails, instant messaging or chat rooms. It is a type of public bullying that often directs harsh languages, or images to a specific person.

  • Don´t worry about what people say to you.They say anything to make you mad.
