6.Do the Internet have rules?
To me the internet has rules to a certain extent. The computer provided in the school has a restriction to lots of websites and these restrictions can be put on any computer for the Internet. The internet is very very large and doesn’t have a filter but you can put restrictions to verify your age on the internet(18 or older). But sometimes you can get around it and lie about your age.
7.Define Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control as they pertain to the Internet and explain how Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control affect both our offline and our online identities and lives. Include at least one example for each.
Immediacy is when you are posting something on the internet
Permanence is as soon as you post something on the internet even though you believe you deleted it, it still will be there. For example other people can look it up.
Lack of Control is when you post something about someone else and has no control about it. They have no say so in what you post or if it's about you.
8.An explanation of how the Internet has changed communication. Make sure to use at least one specific example.
The internet has changed the communication because everything is basically over the internet. Working at your job, typing essays and so forth at school is all over the internet. Social media is over the internet, snapchat and etc. Years ago they used express mail using horses and people to deliver mail and to communicate to other people. But now everything can be through the computer or the phone.
