Slide 2 -An explanation of how the Internet has changed communication. Make sure to use at least one specific example.

The internet has changed communication in the way we don’t even communicate face to face it’s all through a screen. We don’t take the time to just talk we feel lazy and just use what we have.

Slides 3, 4 and 5- Define Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control as they pertain to the Internet and explain how Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control affect both our offline and our online identities and lives. Include at least one example for each.

Immediacy is when you can do something immediately and get an immediate response

Lack of control is when you post something and once you do it it's on the internet for anyone to see making you have a lot less control

Permanence is once everything you put on the internet is there always..


Slide 6 -  What are two ways that you can actively manage and protect your identity and your reputation online? (one of each)

I feel like the way to keep yourself protected  is to check weekly that your account is secure and no one has hacked it. A good way to do this is check to make sure you verified any social media accounts emails so there’s no way anyone can get in.

Slide 7 - Answer the question: “Does the Internet have rules?” Use at least one specific example.

I believe the internet doesn’t have rules. For example you can report a comment or picture but at the end of the day you know you can’t control people of what they say or do.

Slide 8 - Define cyberbullying in your own words.

Cyberbullying is a type of harassment online.

Slide 9 - Describe at least 2 kinds of cyberbullying and why they are considered cyberbullying

Unintentional and impersonating


Slide 10 - Provide advice for: victims, bullies and bystanders of cyberbullying

  • Bully Realize what you’re doing will follow you throughout your life and damage your career

  • There’s always someone there for you and if it gets too out of hand delete all account

  • Always find a way to help before it gets too out of hand

  3. DON’T FOCUS ON WHAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE DOING

  4. BE THE PERSON YOU ARE IN REALITY THE SAME AS WHO YOU ARE ONLINE

  5. DON'T SELF ABSORB
