Justin Smith- Natural Disasters

1. How do the earth systems affect each other? Earth systems affect each other by using the species or matter in that earth system to carry out specific functions of all other earth systems. For example, in the geosphere, you need wind, friction, or water to erode the rock that would be there. The atmosphere would be the system that brings wind, friction, and water to erode these rocks in the form of storms or natural disasters. 2. How can an understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters? If we could understand the patterns and how they begin and finish we can create plans to protect ourselves or at least be aware of when one will strike and we can be as prepared as possible. 3. What efforts can we make to create a sustainable future? We can cut back on using things that will pollute the earth and cause eruption of events because of frequent climate change.
