Justine Sacco Story

Justine Sacco was the global head of communications for the digital media for IAC. Getting on a plane for a trip to South Africa, to visit family, she published a tweet saying "Going to Africa. Hope I don't get AIDS. Just kidding. I'm White!"This has to do with lack of control because when you post something you people can repost it. In this story people retweeted her post. While she was on her plane she had became a trending topic: #HasJustineLandedYet. People started talking about her on twitter saying that they should hang her and that she was racist. That is when permanence comes. Once you post something it can never be deleted. While she was on the plane people had seen the post and right after that they were giving her bad feedback. This had to do with immediacy because after you post something people are viewing it and reposting it. My advice to Justine: You should always think before you post whether it is out of happiness or anger.
