Life with crayola
Describe your project
My project is melted crayons on a canvas with flowers towards the end. It basically describes my life. Right now it’s all a blur, but at the end I hope it will be peaceful. What knowledge did you already have about the project before you started?
Before I started this project, the only knowledge I had was that I knew crayons melted easily. What new skill did you want to learn coming into the project?
I wanted to learn how to turn something so messy, and childish into something with a great meaning behind it.Did you accomplish this goal?
I did accomplish this goal, because of my answer to question one.How do you know you accomplished the goal? If you didn’t accomplish the goal, why do you think that is?
I think I accomplished the goal, because the whole point of the project was to be a reflection piece, and in the end I can see how it does actually reflects on my life, both positive and negative.
What other skill(s) did you learn along the way?
I learned that when melting crayons, be careful because they are really running. What are you most proud of in this project?
I most proud of the meaning behind the project, that still correlates with the vision of the canvas. What would you do differently if you had to do the project over again?
- I would see which colors mix together, because originally I had a specific color scheme in my head, but when I started melting the crayons, the mixes came out different.
