Mini Project - Tornado

As seen attached to this post, my group and I had decided to create a power point as out visual. From this mini-project, I have learned that the earth systems affect each other in a variety of ways. For example, tornadoes are formed when there is an imbalance of temperature in the atmosphere, during a thunderstorm. The thrashing movement of the wind can toss debris, and other object around from the lithosphere. This can harm the organism in the biosphere and cause pollution in the hydrosphere. Our understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters, by understanding the causes and patterns of these disaster. It can help us better prepare for them in the future. Some efforts we can make moving forward towards a more sustainable future is to minimize climate change, so that these natural disasters remain the way they have been before. Another thing we should do is to minimize the amount of litter. litter can cause our sewage systems to be clogged and during heavy rain it can cause the streets to flood and during storms the wind can blow those object around leading to people getting injured. I though that this was an interesting topic and one of the main things that stuck out to me was that the tornado kept in constant contact with the atmosphere and lithosphere. However this left me thinking about how people got to the eye of the storm if they ever did get caught in the tornado.
