Natural Disasters: The Tsunami

I've learned that Earth Systems affected each other by going through something similar to the Dynamo Effect. This means that whatever happens in one sphere of our Earth System effects another sphere by either completely altering it's state or adding to what's already there. As for a simple example, if participated clouds were to absorb water from the ocean and return it to a landmass with enough rainfall then it may have the chance of causing floods to occur. Studies like this can help us better understand how we can avoid natural disasters so they never happen again. We can use the measurements of what happens in each sphere to determine how we can approach it, and what solution will be the most beneficial . So the efforts we can make to help better our future is to be more vocal, active, and aware of what's happening around us. My reactions to the findings of the group weren't as surprising because to me it seemed like these actions pertained to common sense. However, I am interested in how it's formed.
