Natural Disasters

Essential Questions 1. How do earth systems affect each other? Each earth system provides and takes away something from one another. The atmosphere provides a barrier against ultralight for the biosphere. The hydrosphere takes minerals from the geosphere. The hydrosphere gives water to the biosphere. It's all a big cycle. 2. How can an understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters? Understanding environmental science can give you insight into how natural disasters form so you can be able to prevent and prepare for them. 3. What efforts can we make to create a sustainable future? We can lessen some effects that we might have on the other spheres to cause less natural disasters. Reaction to my findings I've learned from my research that sinkholes form by water eroding the surface layer rock causing the earth to collapse. Sinkholes are uncommon in a lot of places but in some places like Florida, they can be very frequent.
