Natural Disasters and Earth Systems
1. How do the earth systems affect each other? Earth systems affect each other in different ways everyday, the atmosphere brings back rainwater to the hydrosphere. The atmosphere provides the geosphere with heat and energy needed for rock breakdown and erosion. The geosphere, in turn, reflects the sun's energy back into the atmosphere. The biosphere receives gases, heat, and sunlight (energy) from the atmosphere. 2. How can an understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters? Understanding environmental science aid in handling natural disasters can help us prevent them. Knowing why certain things happen in the atmosphere can help us find ways that we affect the earth and what we can do on our end as humans. 3. What efforts can we make to create a sustainable future? There are a lot of little things that would add up quickly if all of us as a society were willing to change. Switching to more sustainable lifestyles can make a big difference. 4. I really enjoyed researching and created a visual component for this project. Although a lot of the ways to prevent natural disasters are well known, I defiantly learned a ton about tornados in particular. THE FILE FOR OUR VIDEO WONT UPLOAD
