Natural disasters and Earths systems

Earth's systems work together in many different ways. The atmosphere and hydrosphere can change the shape of objects in the geosphere, the biosphere can change the look of the geosphere and hydrosphere in both positive and negative ways, etc. Specifically, when talking about a tsunami there are three systems that interact with more of an impact than the others. Tsunamis which are included in the hydrosphere collide with cities that lay closer to the water and tend to harm people in the process. Cities are part of the geosphere and when the tsunami touches land it comes with the destruction of wherever it hits due to the force and water. As homes are destroyed people that are part of the biosphere can also get caught in the tsunami. Understanding environmental science can help us predict what type of impact the natural disaster will have on the area and assist us in preparing so there is not as much collateral. We can try to understand greenhouse gasses more and try to reverse the effects. Learn more about the starting signs of a natural disaster to get a more accurate location and direction.
