Q2 Benchmark: Oil Refineries in South Philadelphia

Our video is about air pollution in Philly due to oil refineries, specifically the refineries in South Philadelphia. Thousands of concerned parents have spoken out publicly about their children, many of whom struggle from asthma, having increased health issues due to the air pollution close to where they live. Although oil refineries are beneficial to businesses who need the refined resources, the process is not safe to the public. Our video also mentions 3 politicians who are in support of making Philly air clean again; go vote for them! I contributed to a few of the research questions, wrote different segments of our script, and helped a lot in the editing process for our video. I think I did a good job including my group members in the process for further ideas, feedback, and assistance when I was unsure about something. I definitely struggled with some time management, however. There were multiple times when I felt rushed to finish editing the video. I think this is just due to the fact that none of my group members were very comfortable with iMovie or Garageband, so it took longer. For me, the most meaningful part of the experience of creating the PSA was the very end, when we watched the completed video all the way through.
