An understanding of environmental science can aid in handling natural disasters because your reaction will be calmer because you know what to do. For example, if a hurricane or tornado were to hit someone's town, their best option is to go underground or find shelter away from the storm. 3. What efforts can we make to create a sustainable future? I feel like humans as a society just have to prepare for the worst because one small disaster can destroy the entire human race. It can be as small as making shelters for natural disasters, anything can help.
