Shade

I have created this art piece because I felt that the light and dark contrast of the design would stand out and speak for the picture. My overall vision was to create an image of how how the year wrapped up. I am hoping that the viewers see that I am displaying various lines textures and shades in my drawing.I feel like I achieved great lines and different textures from how i thought it was going to come out. My current work relates to my previous work because of all the different materials I had to use to bring the drawing out. It was definitely cool to work with the light and dark pencils and the charcoal sticks and pencils. Also erasing and lightly shading with the regular pencils and the gum erasers held mold the design, creating the was but is not there anymore shade.
