STANDING ROCK
People on social media have mixed emotions about the project involving the pipeline, some are saying we are being hypocritical because products we use everyday depend on this and there are more more projects going on and that's the involves oil but we only seem to be protesting this one others our upset because the governments is using our money to hurt others and the Anusishik tewenama tribe and the veterans should continue to fight for what they stand for.
These methods are very effective, they are getting people involved with the topic and spreading the word to touch other people and cause a change reaction and now starting to get people with a stronger voice involved like the military.
The role that social media plays in the fight of environmental justice is is they preach the fair treatment of everybody's environmental and they are involving all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income with respect to the development because they all came together for this one topic because in the end this affects all of us.
The strategy that might be our best bet to stop this pipeline is If we could all be there to protest i don't think they would've did the things that they did to the protesters that were out there because it would be a bigger crowd to try to take out so they can see that the tribe is not the only people fighting for this pipeline to not be installed there, because reality is actions speak louder then words.
