The anonymous bully

This article is about a girl named Ashley. She lived a normal life, went to school and all that. What she didn't know is that someone was taking pictures of her. These pictures were being posted on a fake account. These pictures came with her school name, her home address family information, and everything else private. This led to her losing some of her friend but nothing else that serious was lost. It could have ended up being way worse.

Lack of control

Ashley could'nt really do much when the pictures of her were taken. On top of that, she didn't have control over the account. Someone else had control over what people thought of her. She could try to say that she wasn't the one posting on the account, but that wouldn't help because there are pictures of her being posted almost everyday. There was no filter or restriction on these pictures so there was no way of knowing who would see what she posted

Permanency

Even though these pictures have been removed, they are probably not. Someone could have taken a screenshot of her and have it in case of threatening. A person could also have taken a screenshot of her home address and family information. The worse part is there is no telling when this information could be used. When she is trying to do important thing in the future the details that were spread could cripple her chances of doing something.

Immediacy

When these pictures got posted. There was no stopping it. While you are trying to delete it, 15 other people have already seen the picture. You can only do so much when you post something you don't want up. You can delete the picture but there are already screenshots taken.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Ashley was not in control of what happened on the fake account of her. She couldn't delete the pictures because she didn't own the account. Strangers all over the world could have Ashley's private information and she could do nothing about it. In the end there was nothing extremely bad that happened to her. She only lost a couple of friends from this.
