The Nervous System: Worm, Frog, Cat, and Human
Through my research (of the frog and cat only) and completion of this project, I have learned that cats' and frogs' nervous systems have the same structure. Cat's, however, have a significant advantage over frogs because they have a cerebellum, which is the part of their brain that regulates muscular activity. This is an advantage for cats because it allows them to move more easily and with more control over their body as a whole. I have also learned that any individual nervous system can be damaged from traumas or infections, which can result in disorders or insufficient tissue development.
