Toxic City Infographic

Something that stood out to me from the reading as well as working on a project about lead poisoning in Philadelphia was the fact that this is an issue in Philadelphia. Before reading the article I had no clue that Philadelphia had an issue with lead poisoning. Something else that stood out to me was how only the children were being affected by the lead poisoning, I then learned that this was the case because children's immune systems aren't as developed as adults , also that children were in taking chips of paint leading to the lead poisoning. I was wondering if any adults were really affected and is there anything to help remove the poisoning from the human body after partial damage is already done to the systems.
