1. How do the earth systems affect each other? The earth systems affect each other in many ways since they are all intertwined with one another to make things work. For example, the rain water from the atmosphere goes back into the hydrosphere. From there the atmosphere also transfers energy and heat needed for the geosphere. The hydrosphere also provides nutrients to the living things on earth which are in the biosphere. 2. How can an understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters? Although you cant prevent natural disasters as a whole, having an understanding of environmental science can help by helping you be prepared to deal with whatever comes our way. If that means making safety precautions then so be it. Being informed is always good 3. What efforts can we make to create a sustainable future? Some things we can do is for one use renewable energy. We can help preserve the earths natural resources by doing so. Another thing we can do is eat less meat. Not saying you have to completely cut it out of your diet, but it can greatly help lower greenhouse gas emissions. Lastly we can recycle. As we all know plastic items really take a toll on our earth going into the oceans and many more. By simply recycling we can live a more sustainable lifestyle.
