For our benchmark we used a Van sneaker and made the laces using the lights. We chose to do this because it represents that we like sneakers, and we thought it would be cool to use lights as laces in a sneaker. A good use for this could be if your walking at night and you can't see the lit up laces can provide light so that you can see where you are walking.

Internet Survival Guide

Posted by Breanna Savage in Technology- Freshmen · Hertz · a1 on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 9:04 am
  1. The internet changed communication because back then you had to do more stuff to get in touch with somebody or contact them, now all you have to do is push one button.

     2.  Immediacy is like when you post something it could get around fast. Permanence is when you post something it would forever be permanent it will always be always be on the internet. Lack of Control is like if you post something and someone screenshots it before you delete it you lose control of what you posted even if you didn’t mean to i guess someone could post it or do whatever with it.

     3. Two ways you can manage and protect your identity online is never putting personal information on the internet or any social media sites. You can use a nickname or anything. Protecting yourself offline is like being who you are online and offline so there won’t be no problem with catfish and stuff.

      4. In my opinion i don’t think the internet has rules but social media does like if you were to buy a new computer right now when you open it it won’t have a page of rules but then again i really don’t know because there are rules and regulations to the internet.

    5. To me cyberbullying means when someone is getting embarrassed or humiliated thru the internet thru technology or a mobile device.

   6. Two kinds of cyber bullying is harassment and threatening , harassment is like intimidating someone online or someway thru the internet. Threatening someone is like harming someone thru the internet.

   7. Bullies don’t bully, Bystanders don’t watch they get help, Victims stand up for there themselves.

English 1

Motto: A short sentence or phrase chosen as encapsulating the beliefs or ideals guiding an individual, family, or institution.

Creativity while learning looks like interesting thoughts and ideas about the about the topic that’s being said by a teacher or a learner. When being creative you have to think and show the ability of and energy of new ideas. Creativity feels like as though they can bring the spice to the conversation and it’s all about interesting facts or details and a creative mind. You have to think outside the box to a creative learner, reader, or a writer. There’s nothing to know or learn about being creative you just have to have an interesting mindset. You have to express yourself with being creative.

Teacher who gets exposed with weed

My article was about a 10th grade math teacher named Carly Mckinney who basically got exposed for her tweets and pictures on social media about bringing weed to school and pictures of her smoking it on the internet some of her captions stated “Naked, Wet, Stoned”, along with other captions talking about how she watched people deal drugs in a parking lot and then stated how she had weed in her car of the school parking lot. I see it as though she was high while grading papers during school and the website was able to take her tweets and post them on there website. This is a lack of control because she didn’t think about being a teacher while she was posting and doing the things she did involving weed. This is immediacy because she didn’t take her time posting herself smoking in her car and she probably thought it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. This is permanence because she never took down her captions or post therefore now people can screenshot what she is doing.
