This is a room that is owned by Randy Gold which has a lot of valuable items in it. This room can be found in his boat called the S.S. Golden Cruiser. In this boat there is a telescope that he got from his father, the second thing he has on his boat is a map full of places that he has traveled to, and the final thing that he has is a box full of his valuable items.
Goal: Create a guide for anyone who wants to use the Internet for both professional and personal use.
Skills to be learned: Creating an effective slide presentation, using the “Research” tool in Google Slides to find copyright free images, course content, embedding code into a blog post.
Required Project Elements:
An explanation of how the Internet has changed communication. Make sure to use at least one specific example.
The internet has made it much easier to communicate with people and it has also made it easier to get items that you want.
Define Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control as they pertain to the Internet and explain how Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control affect both our offline and our online identities and lives. Include at least one example for each.
Immediacy is one of the most common things to happen on the internet an example of this is when you make a video and when you upload it goes to the internet immediatly. Permanence is when your video or post is up on the internet forever, an example of this is a youtuber called keemstar and he made a racist video and everyone downloaded it and re uploaded it. Lack of control is when you you can´t do anything with the video that they made, an d an example of this is the same example that I gave for permanence.
What are two ways that you can actively manage and protect your identity and your reputation online? (one of each)
Just make sure your not being harsh to anyone and be careful of what you post besides that I don’t know anything else.
Answer the question: “Does the Internet have rules?” Use at least one specific example.
I don’t think the internet has rules I think the websites and social medias have rules but the internet itself doesn’t have rules. An example of this is people cyberbullying and trolling and if the internet had rules these kind of things wouldn't be happening on the internet.
Define cyberbullying in your own words.
Cyberbullying is when you harass/bully someone online.
6. Describe at least 2 kinds of cyberbullying and why they are considered cyberbullying
The first kind of cyberbullying is when you actually don’t know that you're doing it, and the second one is when you're actually trying to bother and hurt the person's feelings
7. Provide advice for: victims, bullies and bystanders of cyberbullying
Your Top 5 tips for using the Internet
If your bullying someone just try to stop because it will ruin your reputation, if you're being harassed then try to talk to someone about it instead of keeping it to yourself, and if you're a bystander then try to defend the person instead of joining the majority that hates the person. Always make sure you be careful
Creativity while learning sometimes helps me be more creative depending on what the topic is. If it was a topic we already talked about then I’m not gonna be interested and I wont be creative and I’m gonna just do the bare minimum. But if the topic is interesting I might want to be more creative because I can relate to the topic really well. The downside of being creative in a project is when you become too creative and you want to do something beyond what the teacher originally asked for therefore you give yourself more work and you make it harder than it’s supposed to be, unless the person is really good with there time and management then they are fine. In the end it’s really just based on the type of person your like if you're lazy, hard working, or both you can do whatever you like.
Fouseytube is a popular youtuber who has done things that he has later regretted and sometimes leaves the site because he gets hate. It started when the drama reporting channels became popular, Fouseytube kept preaching about drama being bad on youtube and I don't think he is wrong for thinking that but I do think it's wrong to keep saying it´s bad and then faking yourself getting punched causing more drama. After he got caught faking it he started saying that he faked it because he was trying to manipulate certain youtube channels but in the end it didn't work.
When Fouseytube was getting a lot of hate he had a fan that had brain cancer, when fouseytube heard about this fan he decided to fly to where the fan lived and visit him and help the kid and his family. But what was suspicious about it was when he did all this when he was getting hate from other people and that he was vlogging almost the whole time he was there with the fan. Most people thought he was using this kid just so he can not get hate, but I think he just did this at the wrong time and it looks like he was using this kid for attention when that probably his real intention.
When fouseytube got back home nothing happened (revolving him) for a week but on the second week he was back he started tweeting very weird things for example he tweeted: Martin luther king jr., and Tupac (he tweeted more names but these two names are the most important). After he tweeted this his fans started asking him why he tweeted these names But then he made a video about why he tweeted these names and in the video he says that he feels he is the Tupac of youtube, the second he made the video and uploaded it got so much hate and he was made fun of so quickly. This event isn't the worst but it was definitely a stupid thing to upload.
The next thing i'm going to talk about took place at fouseytubes and romanatwoods tour where in the tour they went to a stage and fouseytube asked fans to go up to the stage and say something but when one of the fans came to the stage and said a name of youtuber that fousey really disliked and he kicked the fan off of the stage and after that tour was over about a month later he started tweeting very rude things to his to his fans.
As a result of all these events fouseytube has left youtube because he wanted to take a break from youtube and all its drama.
During my research I did not see much immediacy, for Permanence you can clearly find it in this man's social medias especially on youtube because he doesn't delete anything that will make him money (that's what I think at least) and people just like downloading and taking screenshots of people looking bad because that's how the internet is so ya fouseytube is not going to get what he wants out of the internet. Lack of control was also very easy to see in this guy's social media because everyone knows about what he has done and he can't do anything about it.
