The main goal of the Color wheel the project was creating differencing color only using three sets of colors, for example, blue, red, white, out of those three you can make multiple of colors. The process of my color wheel starts with 80s classic games. by Donmir Rolling

My art project is a yin yang koi fish. A Chinese theory for the yin is that it’s passive and negative force, and yang the active, positive force. According to this theory, wise people will de77tect these forces in the seasons, in their food, and so on, and will regulate their lives accordingly. I created this project because, I always been a an of the Yin yang symbol. The yin yang sign mean to is peace, love, and equality, I feel in today's world there isn't any of that. There's so much hate, violence in today's world. My vision for my project was to show peace and love, i want to spread the positivity throughout the world instead of the negativity. I want my viewers to feel what I feel when I see my painting, which is good vibes. I want my viewers to feel relaxed and open. My work now doesn't really compare to my previous I feel my work now mature me as a person then before. My previous work wasn't about showing positivity so much, it was more like a sense of humor. My inspiration came from a television show called Avatar The Last Airbender. One episode shows Koi fish lights up, and when the fishes are not together the world will experiences disaster. My idea was if Yin yang fish come together in the real word then world peace will happen or show equality. My work can impact the world by seeing race equality, for example black and whites come together and stop the racism going around the world. The technique I use for my project was a pencil, painting, and sharpie. Sharpie is great technique to use to outline the paint to define the painting a lot more. A new technique I learn was painting, at first when I was painting the color wasn't as dark,  Ms. Hertz told me to give it a second paint to darken the color so it won't fade out. My art compare with  the painting “Gu Wenda” is similar, both are Chinese and have message. Overall I'm proud of my project and i'm glad I have a great meaning behind the painting to show.

Q2 Benchmark/Value, Line, and Texture

Posted by Donmir Rolling in Art 2 · Hertz · d1 on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 8:00 pm

I choose to do value, line, and texture drawing because I am a fan of free drawing anything that comes to mind. one my favorite animal is a chimpanzee, one reason why I like chimpanzees is their similarity to humans. My overall vision of my drawing was chimpanzee can do just as many things humans can do, for example, walk on two feet, dress up, and etc. The drawing shows a chimpanzee in a suit taking a picture on an iPhone, I wanted to show a sense a humor in my drawing to make a viewer giggle or laugh. The process of my art drawing all started with a  movie call Planet of the apes, the movie shows an ape name Caesar growing up to be super intelligent and started to develop human characteristics, for example, he dresses, talks, and have a family.  My idea for my drawing was an ape with human qualities.  My work can influence others by thinking outside the box and being open to draw whatever they put their mind too. My work now compare to my previous is completely different, I notice some improvement over the last two months, a new tool I'll use was pencil shading. Pencil shading is twenty different types of pencils you can use to draw light, medium, or dark. Something I think I need to work on differently in the future is my time management Overall I am happy with my art project, I hope to influence people to draw whatever they put their mind too.

The reason I made this art because I always been a fan of pac-man. I remember playing pac-man aunt's house as a kid all the time. For this project i had to a pac-man theme. I look up some ideas on google and i seen one examples and immediately had vision for my project. I never did a pac-man project for a grade so i thought this will be cool. I think my audience reaction will be excited to see a classic old school game. I believe i could've did better for this project. My previous work in my opinion I believe I done better. My current work right now i doesn't feel good about it. will relates to my previous work be… My art will fit in the history of art practice by seeing how I got better over the years of doing art all my life, and see how my work progress and how it improved. One inspiration that art stood out to me was a picture from google image “ Image result for pac man coloring wheel”  My art will fit into a group exhibition because of its classic theme. My art will go with all 80s classic games.  My art relates to other artist in the world because of its unique theme and  different pattern, most of my influence come from google images. A artist technique i use for art painting is pigment colors ( pigments include a corresponding colors, secondary colors, and tertiary colors). A new technique I learn was the palette,  palette is what you use to mix colors and make new a color.
