Fast Plant Reflection

Posted by Dejah Watts in Biochemistry 2 Honors on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 10:17 pm

The plants ended up being very different than our predictions. They didn't show much color but had grown and died faster than the F1 plants did. The one on the top is F1 and the one on the bottom is F2. Obviously F1 was able to thrive more than the F2 plants. I think the fact that we sometimes forgot about our plants that it lessened their ability to thrive where they were at. The genetics of the F1 plants is what gave the F2 plants their phenotype. The biggest indicator of how the plants were going to look at was to just remember how the F1 plants were crossbred and hope that we had completed the process correctly. The one thing that stood out to me throughout this whole process was how it was important to know how everything that's happening. Of course you have to know all of the steps, but I was shocked at how important it was to keep track of everything that had to be done and recorder every time we had the chance.

Q4 Benchmark FINAL SUBMISSION: Ecology

Posted by Dejah Watts in Biochemistry 2 Honors on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 10:42 pm
For this project, my group and I decided to show the effects of trash, pollution, and overfishing on wildlife. The biggest takeaway from this was that it doesn't seem like anything is happening to protect these creatures that are getting harmed by our actions. So to me, it was just really important to show the beauty of the ocean, but also show how we ruin it.

One point perspective

Love doesn’t need a diamond ring…

Substance is not greater than what you feel. Someone can to you and give you the whole world. That doesn’t mean he can give what you need and make you happy. You should be happy with someone who can only afford to give you his heart. This room represents a person is independent and free. She does whatever she wants and isn't afraid to express herself.

Only 1!~ Dejah Watts

The meaning of this work is to be original. I am the only one who put their street art in the place that it's at. It makes even more special than it already is.

What inspired my work was how Terri used someone else's work as his own. I didn't want to do that. I wanted to be as original as possible.

I thought the place I put it wouldn't draw that much attention, but when it did, I would make people say that it was different.

I now look at art as something that is sacred to the artist. Their art is a symbol of them, no matter where it is present or where it's placed.

I now look at art in the city and see the struggle of the artist that put it there. I see the different ways the artist had to get the art to where it is. I also imagine what the artist was thinking when it ame to getting the painting or drawing noticed.

The internet and you

Posted by Dejah Watts in TECH 1 - Hertz - a1 on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 10:11 am
When you are not responsible online you could seriously hurt someones feeling and start something that could never stop

When you are not responsibe onlineyou start to feel bad about what you did because you know it wasnt the best thing to do.

My number one rule is to stick together and be friendly to other people don't use the internet to abuse other people.
