Ke'yon remembers  those rainy days  in the mornings and not feeling like to get up and waking up late for school.Everyday he would wake up late just to catch the septa bus and every time he would wake up late and just stare at the clock because he was so lazy to get out of the bed.

As he goes into his room he looks at his coin jar and count it up and he sees that it way more money then from when he was younger to as he is older. As he goes downstairs he forgot that he had put a plant in the living room  and he watches it grow  from a younger little boy to as he is now every time his mom goes to the store or to the market she sits a candle next to the plants. His mom only light the candle if it stank in the house. Also Every time his mom goes to walmart she buys fresh dove soap and sit it on the sink so then every time before somebody eats they have to wash they hands with that soap.

Internet Survival Guide

  1. An explanation of how the Internet has changed communication. Make sure to use at least one specific example.

The internet has changed communication all over the world how like if you have  access to  to the internet and don’t want to talk to that person face to face then you can talk on the internet like snapchat ,instagram,facebook.etc.

  1. Define Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control as they pertain to the Internet and explain how Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control affect both our offline and our online identities and lives. Include at least one example for each.

Immediacy when I think of immediacy I hear the  word immediate  so like when you post something over social  media and it say your name they immediate looks at it. When you are online you can do the same thing but instead when you bring them into a convo that is something called tagging them or @ the person name. Permanence when I see that word i think of the word permanent so when you post over social media and people see it but you do not like it and you delete it people can still see it and screenshot it so it  could be over the internet forever..Lack of control if you post a picture and then people start to tag other people ten you have no control of what they do on the internet .

  1. What are two ways that you can actively manage and protect your identity and your reputation online? (one of each)

You can protect your identity by not telling nobody your personal information  or your personal password to everything and you can also put a password that won’t nobody never get. What else I might do is make a fake account of myself or a backup account.

You can protect your reputation online by just not posting things online that you do or bad things that you do in real life don’t post that type of stuff online like illegal things and or things  that don’t show you really are.

  1. Answer the question: “Does the Internet have rules?” Use at least one specific example.

    1. Answer the question: “Does the Internet have rules?” Use at least one specific example.

to do something on the internet you have to read the agreements and license so the internet does have rules.

    1. Define cyberbullying in your own words.

Cyberbullying - like a way of  threatening somebody on internet  instead of in their face but you really can expose them on the internet way more then you can in they face but you can interact faster on the internet with the people and they can cause harm to other people.

    1. Describe at least 2 kinds of cyberbullying and why they are considered cyberbullying

Harassment- this is considered cyberbullying because people threaten other people by sending rude messages and exposing them worldwide on the internet.

Flaming-public bullying that involves fighting in group chats and exchanged emails and so people who fights to single out one person on internet but they does in front of to other people.

    1. Provide advice for: victims, bullies and bystanders of cyberbullying

The advice i can give people  who witness cyberbullying i can say report those type of people and block them or you can tell the cops that people are harassing other people and they going to give them a consequence.

    1. Your Top 5 tips for using the Internet

    • Read the rules.

      • Read the rules.

      • Watch what you are doing on the internet.

      • Don’t put everything on internet that you come to mind.

      • You use the internet the correct way and not the inappropriate way.

Think before you post

by ke'yon Beverly

Justine who are 14 and she was battling cancer. When she was told her cancer went into admission she had felt like all her problems was behind her.Later, justine started to receive threatening E-mails and they were random.Once her parents had found out they had called the police immediately and the police traced to justine’s “best friend” as a joke.Later that girl was sentenced to counseling and to write justine an apology letter. From this I can say this was a negative story but we can learn from this experience to never cyber bully nobody even if that is your bestfriend or she is your family member.
