Artistic Paragraph: Marcelus: I chose to use a sneaker because we both really like sneakers. I both wear sneakers every day. Many people see sneakers as something that you just walk but I see them as more than. I take really good care of sneakers some more than others but I like to make sure that they look good and even the smallest smudge puts us on high alert. This says that we are very serious about our sneakers but at the same time we have fun wearing them as long as we can no matter what. This also represents that sneaker very special place in our hearts.

Artistic Paragraph: Darien: I chose to use a sneaker because I thought it would be cool to light up a sneaker. Also, sneakers mean a lot to me I always clean them when I see the littlest mark. I take great care of my sneakers I always make sure they’re good. Sneakers are in our everyday life we need sneakers. Sneakers are a culture in our community in today's world.

Electric Art Project

Posted by Kyla Williams in Physics · Gray · A on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 9:37 am

For our Electric Art Project my partner and I decided to use a sneaker as our sculpture. Since me and my partner were as young as i could remember we always had a passion for sneakers and art. I can remember endless conversations about these two subjects. After thinking about options for this project, we found the perfect way to mesh these two ideas together. In order to consolidate art and sneakers into the faction of circuits and electricity in physics we decided to take a sneaker that I free-handily customized with an assortment of sharpies and lace it with lights. We wanted to make a design that was wearable and true to ourselves.

I choose to make my medal box into my sculpture because Student Run was a big part of my life in middle school and I really enjoyed all the runs I did with the program. Students run really helped me I learned a lot and it helped me keep in shape. All the medals in the box are some of the runs I have done while in students run.

I decided to do my circuit project on my hockey stick because it shows that I have a passion for playing hockey. Also that I thought it would be fun to do it on my hockey stick. I connected the battery to the end of the stick and I put the lights in series.

Physics project

Artist statement: I choose to this take of light sculpture because I thought it would be nice for my name to be lit up. I also thought that it would be fun to do as well. I got to personalize my sculpture to reflect on who I am. Since I like makeup I thought to stickers was a nice touch to my M. When I was begging the project I always wanted to use the cotton balls to my advantage for this project. I always love wearing and doing peoples makeup since 11. So making this was a fun project that I would do again
