Electric Art Project

Posted by Kyla Williams in Physics · Gray · A on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 9:37 am

For our Electric Art Project my partner and I decided to use a sneaker as our sculpture. Since me and my partner were as young as i could remember we always had a passion for sneakers and art. I can remember endless conversations about these two subjects. After thinking about options for this project, we found the perfect way to mesh these two ideas together. In order to consolidate art and sneakers into the faction of circuits and electricity in physics we decided to take a sneaker that I free-handily customized with an assortment of sharpies and lace it with lights. We wanted to make a design that was wearable and true to ourselves.

One Point Perspective

Posted by Kyla Williams in Introduction to Art · Hertz · e2 on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 2:32 pm

The room I drew was my bedroom. In my bedroom is a table with my paint supplies. I personalized my bed with coloring my blanket purple. And adding some pictures to my wall. What I learned about one point perspective is that everything goes back to the vanishing point. I'm most proud of the sunset that I drew in my skylight. I wish I could improve my tile floor and also make my lines straighter. One tip to have when completing this project is to always use a ruler.

Cell Phone Addiction and Multitasking

Posted by Kyla Williams in Intro to Tech and Comp App · Hertz · e1 on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 1:32 pm
During this unit we learned about multitasking and cell phone addiction and how the two relate. The purpose of this project was to gather data on how many times we checked our phones over the last two days. In conclusion multitasking and cell phone addition are related. You can't multitask it slows you down and doesn't help you complete your work. The next step you can make is to try to not multitask with your phone.
