Biology of the Human Body

For our quarter 3 benchmark, my group researched the biology of the human body, comas and how they affect the human nervous system. Our physical model is a painting which openly shows the functions of the human and how these structures are effected in and out of consciousness. Throughout this project, I learned about many different brain structures, the nerves that effect the, and how the nervous system works in the human body. One interesting fact that I learned while experimenting is that we as humans have a very complex nervous system and though it seems that the brain on;y interprets and receives that we actually can give information a lot better after understanding it over several times as compared to once or twice.
