Public health is a topic that is talked about often. Public health to me addresses all of the diseases that affect us as a society. The government needs to realize that we can address public health by making health insurance either less costly or free. This is something only our political leaders can make fit in the budget. If healthcare was free there would be more people reaching out and being more interested in their health. A lot of people who these public diseases affect are those who avoid the doctor's office because they don't have any insurance and can't afford a visit. There are groups studying these diseases daily to see what can happen for these things to stop. Many doctors have to study the things we study in anatomy in order to see what is happening and in what part of the body things are happening in.
