1. How do the earth systems affect each other? All earth systems are interconnected to each other meaning something changes in one earth system can eventually cause a change in other systems as well. For example, when the water cycle occurs, the water from the hydrosphere gets evaporates and becomes a part of the atmosphere. Then the waters from the atmosphere return to the geosphere through rains in which soil (geosphere) gets wet and it also goes through the plant’s root(biosphere) and makes the plants alive. If something goes wrong with the evaporation, the whole process of the water cycle wouldn’t occur. 2. How can an understanding of environmental science aid in handling natural disasters? Understanding environmental science is very beneficial in handling natural disasters. Knowing the causes of environmental disasters helps in coming up with a solution to protect the environment and make it safe for living things. For instance, If human interactions cause an issue, they can become aware of the things and avoid those things that would lead to natural disasters. 3. What efforts can we make to create a sustainable future To create a sustainable future, we can try to avoid the things that are damaging our environment and do more things that are suitable and good for the environment. Things like recycling, saving energy, using renewable energy are ways to create a sustainable environment. I have really enjoyed doing this project, learning interesting things about nature, and working with the group to come up with a visual component. We haven't faced many challenges as every group member well communicated and did what they were supposed to do.
