Electric Art

Posted by Kristen Sanchez in Physics · Gray · E on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 8:33 am

The first letter of my name is K so I chose to represent that in my project because I’m a lit person. So I put some lights on it to show the world that I’m me and I’m proud. My circuit consist of 6 bulbs, consisting of a series of 3, 2, and 1. They series are all parallel to each other which shows why the single bulb is the brightest. I chose this piece to give a representation of my personality.

One Point Perspective Project

Posted by Kristen Sanchez in Introduction to Art · Hertz · a2 on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 2:28 pm
My room drawing is a basic living room. It has hardwood floors, a big window and the door is on the right hand side. I have learned that depending on where you stand, you will see different sides and angles of objects because when you stand somewhere your vision goes into a sort of triangle, which is why in the drawing everything seems to be getting smaller at an angle. I am most proud of being able to make a 2D drawing look like what the human eye sees when they are staring at something. I wish I could've been able to draw a lot more than I actually drew, my room looks bland because I didn't have time to finish. My tip to someone who will do this project next year is to come in if you're absent because then you won't be able to finish because time is not really on your side when it comes to this.

Multitasking and Cell Phone Addiction

Posted by Kristen Sanchez on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 9:56 am
The object of this project is to collect data from the amount of time people spend using their phones and see how it impacts our learning, brain functionality, and ultimately know if we are addicted. After conducting my own experiment and observing the use of my peers it was concluded that multitask when doing homework by checking my phone frequently. I check my phone about the same amount of times as my peers, however spend most of my time on Snapchat while most of my peers spend their time on Instagram. To find the full data, we made a Google Spreadsheet with all of the class data, we found out data by using apps on our phones such as Cheky and Moment to track our screen time.
