Q4 Benchmark "BN Glasses" by Nateerah and Bella

Posted by Nateerah Wilson in Physics · Gray · A on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 8:43 am
For our Q4 Benchmark in physics we are planning to light up a pair of sunglasses. We decided to do Sunglasses because we use glasses in our everyday life. Especially when the sun is out. This invention is called the “BN Glasses”. It gives us the ability to use these glasses anywhere at anytime. At night you wear them and the 4 lights in the side light up! Cool right? I guess so,  All you simply have to do is make sure the wires connect to the battery on the glasses. It’s kind of complicated but it’s a cool way to learn how to light up bulbs.

One Point Perspective

Posted by Nateerah Wilson in FreshmenArt on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 12:05 pm
A young man named Codi had a passion for lovely furniture around his house. He had a great imagination. His parents left the house all to him with an abundance of money. Then Codi was thinking about adding more furniture to the dwell to get rid of the thought of his parents still sort of being in the house. This would help him be reminded that he is an independent man.

However, a sofa in his home brings back memories of when him and his brothers would watch football in the living room. The sofa was brown suede and the lamp was curve shaped. Codi admired his medals for track. There was a picture on the wall of his family ten years ago that they had taken in a diner for Christmas.

Internet Survival Guide.

Posted by Nateerah Wilson in Technology- Freshmen · Hertz · e1 on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 8:50 am
An explanation of how the Internet has changed communication. Make sure to use at least one specific example.
The internet has changed communication because now people can converse through apps such as dm’ing and chat rooms.

Define Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control as they pertain to the Internet and explain how Immediacy, Permanence and Lack of Control affect both our offline and our online identities and lives. Include at least one example for each.
Immediacy - After posting something you can delete it ask quick as you might want to but people could have already seen the post and screenshotted it. Posting someone's worst birthday picture and deleting it whenever you want.
Permanence - After posting/commenting you have no way of getting it down.
Lack of Control - After posting/commenting you have no control to erase anything. Saying someone is a b#!%$* on instagram and the someone sees it and threatens to get the cops involved and they cannot delete it.
What are two ways that you can actively manage and protect your identity and your reputation online? (one of each)
To avoid your reputation being ruined, you can make your page private, block any users you do not want to view your account. You can make an appropriate, professional account for users you know are the business type.
Answer the question: “Does the Internet have rules?” Use at least one specific example.
In my opinion, the internet does not have rules. “Logging on to a website not for young eyes, the website might ask for some identification making sure you are of age to probably view or watch the inappropriate videos/pictures.”
Define cyberbullying in your own words.
Cyberbullying - attacking someone, stalking a user or posting something that is not appropriate, posting embarrassing things.
Describe at least 2 kinds of cyberbullying and why they are considered cyberbullying
Stalking a user.
Harassing a user.

Provide advice for: victims, bullies and bystanders of cyberbullying
Begin blocking users you are not comfortable with seeing your things.
Report any negative things you dislike.
Notify the website director.

Your Top 5 tips for using the Internet
Be aware what you post.
Post positive things.
Use internet manners.
Report any abusive ways people are being rude.
Acknowledge the greatness of the website or app.

Creativity while learning… is expressing your thoughts and ideas of your own mindset of how you interpret life. To me creativity while learning is like revealing your hidden imagination. Expressing is a huge deal with creativity pieces. Individuals with extraordinary personalities have outstanding ideas; brainstorms about anything. They can might expand their own way of existing. Although, others imagination can reflect on how they create new inventions. Creativity while learning helps  because when asked even a simple question, you can give your own explanation of how things interact. Also you can get to hear other people responses of how they view things and their own perspective.  Creativity while doing anything also aids you to see how your own self can view things and what you believe is more imperative to acknowledge because now you can exhibit your very own skills to people. Most of  the time people express what they enjoy during creativity lessons. how they ponder is a great way to share how you feel.

“A suicide story A 15-year-old girl from Ireland also committed suicide because of devastating ask.fm bullying. She was found in the woods near where she lived in September of 2012. Before she did so, she even told some of her friends about suicide since she was being bullied. She was told over and over that she was fat and that she had no respect for herself.”

The effects this had on the young girls life was her parents are probably broken hearted their little girl is not alive anymore. The comments probably influenced the girl to have low self esteem. The best thing she could have done was tell an adult, delete her account, make a new account, block the disrespectful users, or even make her page private. The suicidal incident could have been avoided if she took those options. The people that post hurtful comments have immediacy but the targeted girl has permanency because now people have the ability to label her as joke.
