Khaila's Room & Story

Posted by Khaila Sundiyata in FreshmenArt on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11:46 am

I stand in the middle of my room thinking back to the warm summer days. Looking at the sea shells on my night stand next to my bed, remembering that day I spent with my friends at the beach. A sound brings back from this memory it was my cat jumping off my dresser onto the floor. She loves leaving her mark on my mirror by scratching it frequently to keep her claws sharp. I go to my closet to  continue picking out my clothes for school tomorrow and I end the night with a bag of chips I found in my bag and watch Television.

one point perspective room

Posted by Kelly Wiggins in FreshmenArt on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10:19 am

Kylie was sitting her bedroom rearranging her room because it was starting to look really kiddish.

As Kylie was standing in her very kiddish room she started to move stuff finally.  Kylie then decided to add a clock that her grandma gave her  because she is always watching the time. She added shoes on her wall to make her room look older. Kylie added her finishing touch on the wall, the picture of her name on her wall.

Ke'yon remembers  those rainy days  in the mornings and not feeling like to get up and waking up late for school.Everyday he would wake up late just to catch the septa bus and every time he would wake up late and just stare at the clock because he was so lazy to get out of the bed.

As he goes into his room he looks at his coin jar and count it up and he sees that it way more money then from when he was younger to as he is older. As he goes downstairs he forgot that he had put a plant in the living room  and he watches it grow  from a younger little boy to as he is now every time his mom goes to the store or to the market she sits a candle next to the plants. His mom only light the candle if it stank in the house. Also Every time his mom goes to walmart she buys fresh dove soap and sit it on the sink so then every time before somebody eats they have to wash they hands with that soap.

So...there’s this girl...she...um… a…an undergraduate who attends Princeton, in New Jersey. She loves to cook and eat and when people bring her food. She has a big dinner tonight so she can get a job interview the next day. She is not in a hurry to cook anything. She sits down thinking about what she’ll prepare.

Caroline is sitting in her kitchen sitting on her chair gazing at the black and white tiled floor wondering what she’ll make for dinner. As she she continues to gaze at it, she starts to think about her favorite show “American Horror Story,” wondering if Jessica Lange is going to be in any of the upcoming seasons...She looked up and saw there was a half eaten sandwich right next to her, a glass of water with a bold green lipstick around the rim, and a note that said, “enjoy!” and a bouquet of chrysanthemum. “I don’t live with anyone…”

Cecilia is getting ready to go to a dinner party. She sits at her vanity and looks in the mirror. She grabs one of the four hair ties on her vanity and does her hair.Looking to the left, she notices a limo roll up in the the front of the yard. Hearing her friend calling to her from the car, Cecilia grabs her bag and leaves out the door.

Sloppy Joe's Sloppy Room

Posted by Victor Jimenez-Nunez in FreshmenArt on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 9:13 am

Joe could always remember those old days in his sloppy room, after all he was nicknamed Sloppy Joe. Getting yelled at by his mom wasn’t always his favorite thing, being a shut in and all. Skipping school was a disgrace to the family! Looking back at his sloppy days, he remembers the 2009 computer he owned years ago, still having the mac logo in place, but still having grease and bugs all over it.

As he stands in his old dusty and dirty room, he gazes at the rough carpet and spots his favorite action figure having a huge scratch across his chest. A piece of hardwood falls on him, not enough to hurt, but to realize that the ceiling was near the end of its life, “It is time to take action”, Joe said! No more of the torn down ceiling, floor, and walls!

While cleaning up his room and turning it into a masterpiece, he spots his childhood photo of him posing for a fourth grade picture, how embarrassing that was. He looks at the mirror and compares how he looked many years ago to now. In a couple hours, his room turns into a like-new condition!

The person who lives here just moved from New Jersey. He's really short but he likes high ceilings. Other then that it is just a generic kitchen other then some things he holds dear to his kitchen. His old welcome mat, his mom's vase, and the Clock on his wall.

One-point Perspective Room

Posted by Deja Green in FreshmenArt on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 8:47 am

Every night sandy look at old picture from her mom's photo book and remember the times she had when she was still alive .Sandy is a quiet girl that rarely gets in trouble a lot and lives with her father.  She love when she has time for herself to look back at it . While Sandy looks at the photo book she had different emotions going through each picture and when she has enough she put it down she sits down for a good 5 minutes until she turns of her lamp off of the nightstand that was passed down from her mother to her with the plant next to it which was her mother's favorite type tulips and goes to sleep . Sandy’s mom died when she was little, Sandy just a normal teenage girl going through her struggles each day.

Klya's room

Posted by Denali Jaffe-Ward in FreshmenArt on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 8:34 am

Klya sat in her bedroom on the couch by the window.  She had just moved into this big house and she had picked this room because it was her favorite one in the house.  Even though it wasn't too big she loved the big windows that gave her a nice wiew of the backyard, the wooden floor, and the fact that it had a bathroom connected to it.  So far her room was pretty bare.  She hadn’t really given the chance to fill it up with too much stuff.  She had some of her furniture from home like her bed, couch, her shelve with some of her old stuff, and desk with a chair, and a rug.  She also had her favorite teddy bear which her mother had given her when she was little and she and she had kept it ever since, her rug which had been made by her best friend as a going away present. She couldn’t wait to fill it up with more stuff. A few things had been left by the previous owners who had lived there before like the painting of the ocean hanging on the wall and a few books.
