Electric Arts Project

Posted by Jone Greene in Physics · Gray · E on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 8:54 am

I chose to do this project because I wore it at my last school dance last year. The 8th grade dance was the last dance I went to so they made it a king and queen theme.

Electric Art Project

I decided to make this because I thought I would like the way it looked. This is something I would use as decoration in my room. After i know where exactly I wanted to put the lights and got all the things I needed it was easy to do.

Physics Benchmark

What I did was I put lights on my guitar. I put the ends close to the battery. I then put the wires on my battery. The guitar means something to me because it was my first guitar ever.

Electric Art Project

Posted by Sereina Williams in Physics · Gray · E on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 8:47 am

For my project, I decided that I am going to put light on my camera strap. I chose to use my camera strap because, right now, my best interest and hobby is photography. So, I knew that I couldn’t put a light on my actual camera, so I decided that I can put the lights on my strap because I can just get a new one when I mess it up. While making the circuit, I thought that I would not be able to make the circuit correctly, but at the end, it worked. The light bulbs will shine the same brightness.

Electric Art Project

For my Electric Art Project, I chose to go to maker space to get my name carved into a heart, got a bear, and fake roses.I personally just feel like they match nicely together, so that's why i choose these objects. Also its 2 hearts on this sculpture because I have a big heart. Niya isn't my actual government name but its my nickname so thats why I chose to get that carved onto the heart.

Electric sculpture

Posted by Jewel Lee-Johnson in Physics · Gray · E on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 8:46 am

I chose the phone as my sculpture because cameras are my interests. Whether it is in front or behind of, cameras are really important and come to good use. People use it for promoting and marketing as well as connecting and entertaining. I use cameras for making films, typically to show choreography and directing for songs just for fun! Phones also help you stay organized and improve your time management. My phone is personalized din way where I’m inspired by daily quotes and photos to help keep me motivated and determined to stay true to myself and be the creative person I am by: writing poetry, listening to music, and looking at photography.

Lighted Collage Board

Posted by Lauren Martinez in Physics · Gray · E on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 8:44 am

For my electric art project I chose to make a collage board of Polaroids taken either by me or are Polaroids of me on a white canvas. There are lights poking out through the canvas in between the photos. I chose to do this because my future dream job that I want to be is a photographer and the first ever camera I got to work towards this career was a Polaroid camera. I was able to take photographs with it and the photos that I’ve taken with it show my first steps towards my future goal. So I wanted to highlight my beginner photos because I thought this would be a good way to incorporate an electric component into my personal life. This is why I chose to make a photo collage board that lights up for my project

Elijah’s artistic statement

We chose to make this project because we felt like it would be cool. This project tells us that we like to make cool stuff. The project contains a speaker, a 9v battery, and 6 lights. It was also a fun project

Donte’s Statement:

I wanted to use a speaker because listening to music is one of my favorite things to do. Music is one of the only things that gets me to do my work. This project was fun but i wish we could have used different lights.

I chose to use the map of Africa for my Electric Art project because I was born in West Africa.

Light Hat

Posted by Colin Fegely in Physics · Gray · E on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 8:39 am

I chose this hat as my foundation for its emotional value to me. I played baseball in this league for more than 8 years and since I aged out I thought this would be a great idea for my project. My project consists of 6 lights, one 9 volt battery, one light switch, and my hat.
